Drums and percussion are the heartbeat of a song. They can add strength and power to a phrase or an instrument solo. They can be the foundation and color in a beautiful melody. I try to make sure each student realizes the importance of their instrument in creating music. Students will learn to read music, they will learn how to master techniques, and they will learn how to make the drums a musical experience. I want my students to have a great time while they learn to express themselves through music.
